The Ride
The ride is a highly modified 1995 Ford full-size Eddie Bauer Bronco. Leather, nice and clean on the inside, built for The Rough on the outside. The Bronco has been lifted 6” and re-geared (4.56) to math the 35x12.50 Mud Terrain’s on Rock Crawler wheels. It has ARB lockers so power makes it to all wheels (don’t confuse this with “all-wheel drive” i.e. Subaru –which is good for rain and light snow, but not what you need in The Rough). It sports a complete Warn bumper-grill guard-winch system (9,000 lbs. straight line, 18,000 lb. self- recovery) and Warn Premium locking hubs. The jack is by High Lift and there is even a shovel that the client will never have to use because a guide was hired! The Bronco has the Stock Top which is great for Winter and bad weather days and a modified top for Spring, Summer and Fall to let air in but keep the sun off. A third option is to go topless for a closer connection to nature. Topless is for those that enjoy lots of sun and don’t mind the chance of getting wet from a creek crossing or sudden shower. This Bronco can deliver a client in evening wear to a nice restaurant or go through the roughest of The Rough without missing a beat. Your escape from the routine couldn’t be in a better ride.

The Gear
Multi-day and Cross Country Trip
Gear options start with an available 20 foot PlayMor pull behind camper. It is small enough to get off the beaten path but large enough for those that need a little more than what a tent offers. It has full restroom facilities, A.C., heat, microwave, T.V/DVD combo and sleeps 4 tightly, 5 if one individual is 120 lbs. or less. You can relax while it is set up each night or you can help if you are energetic or wish to learn about RV’s before you purchase one. If you choose a cross country trip there is no additional rental fee for the camper, and you have it to yourself as the guide sleeps in a tent (the guide may join the client if the weather gets bad enough).

Tent camping is an option for those that enjoy a wilder feel to the multi-day or cross -country trip. Dome tents are the standard and when possible are set up on ground sheets and under tarps to improve weather resistance. Tent trips also include the use of lanterns, cook stoves and coolers but the client will need his or her own sleeping bag or bedding. Fuel for lanterns and stoves is provided, ice for cooler is not. Kitchen wear such as pots, pans and utensils are provided. Paper plates, napkins, paper towels and plastic dinner
wear is not.
